Position Summary

Responsible for leading and developing a team of Web Publishers who will be carrying out all Publishing activities , including Editorial and Web Publishing tasks following and conforming to Lionbridge worldwide Engineering processes and guidelines.

The TS Team Lead will have full ownership project(s) ensuring the project results meets and exceeds global expectations which he/she reports to the Global Lead.

The TS Team Lead is responsible for developing and maintaining good customer relationships, ensuring customer expectations are met and/or exceeded while maintaining highest levels of quality and efficiency.




Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive projects
  • Pre-Sales & Pre-production support
  • Ensure production of Web Assets to the highest quality standards and fully SEO compliant in accordance with the delivery schedule
  • Lead communication around deliverables; act as single point of contact for all requests
  • Consult with Marketing Managers worldwide on customization requests
  • Report on KPI data and SLA conformance
  • Improve and enhance the publishing process with metric driven data
  • Talk to Global Lead and plan resourcing and training based on those talks
  • Triage of project request to ensure all requirements are clearly identified and available for work to commence
  • Assign tasks to the local team resources ensuring the balancing of work and project priorities among team members according to skills and individual workload on a daily basis
  • Provide technical support to the team
  • Assist client team with troubleshooting technical issues
  • Contribute to the development of automation for the project
  • Develop and maintain best practices/processes and training documentation for the project using the LSS program
  • Attend d aily and status calls and generate weekly status reports for Global Lead
  • Contact the customer directly on high priority issues
  • Work with Global Lead to develop process improvements across the team
  • Report on all project issues to Global Lead and PMs as required
  • Provide mentoring and training to project resources
  • Any additional tasks required as the role evolves
  • HR responsibility for team, including all below items:
    • Communicate Lionbridge policies, values and mission to new employees.
    • Carry out performance reviews in accordance with the company HR policy
    • Lay out goals and objectives and adjust them to respective needs, review with Local Manager pre-implementation, monitor achievements and give regular feedback to both Publishers and Local Manager
    • Take disciplinary action in accordance with HR guidelines
    • Hold weekly team meetings
    • Setup formal 1:1 meetings with all direct reports and provide feedback
    • Identify training gaps and track training undertaken for all direct reports
    • Determine individual and team training requirements and work on their implementation in conjunction with Local Manager and Global Lead


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Seeking 3-5+ years of team leading experience with the following:
    • Technical expertise with varied CMS
    • Expertise in HTML, XML,CSS and other technologies related to Web Pages
    • Expertise in SEO and SEM
  • Metrics and reporting skills
  • Understanding capacity management, c reating and updating scalable, flexible and accurate resource plans in conjunction with the Global GMO Lead
  • Ability to maintain ownership of work queue and drive efficiencies within Publishers
  • Excellent knowledge of common productivity applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with task ticketing systems (Bug tracking tools etc)
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Essential attention to detail adhering to customer branding and quality guidelines
  • Proven customer service mindset
  • History of meeting and exceeding customer expectations for on-time, high-quality deliverables
  • Strong attention to detail and superb troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to lead communication effectively across multiple diverse marketing, reporting and development teams
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently within a team environment
  • Proactive work ethic with strong leadership abilities
