About Businessline/Function :

The role is in TCOE for Actimize, which is a Risk Case Management (Surveillance) tool that allows Compliance users to analyze the fraudulent transactions to/from the bank and report to the regulators across the NAR and LATAM region.

The function is that of a Quality Analyst for Regulatory Reporting/ Compliance domain to work closely with Business Analyst, Development team and Project stakeholders.

Position Purpose

The candidate will be responsible for designing the test cases and perform Functional and Regression execution.

Candidate is expected to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.

Candidate should have experience in AML (Transaction Surveillance), Actimize or any other Surveillance tool & SQL. The candidate should be well versed in working effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Understanding testing principles and practices
• Relevant testing experience of 3 – 6 years.
• Ability to plan, design and execute Functional and Regression test cases, status reporting and defect tracking.
• Provide status updates to Lead/Managers on timely manner and help with artifacts creation.
• Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams.
• Ability to work in tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams.
• Good Analytical skills.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
• Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
• Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
• Must be able to drive project single-handed.
• The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Experience in AML (Transaction Surveillance) or Regulatory Reporting is must.
• Hands on experience on Actimize or any other Surveillance tool.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of test management tool – ALM, JIRA

Specific Qualifications (if required)

• Around 3 – 6 years of experience in Functional testing
• Working knowledge of at least one DB (Oracle/MySQL)
