Environment:

Schneider Electric Autodesk are collaborating in order to develop a new product to ease the design of electrical networks in the BIM environment. This is a very ambitious and promising partnership where the alliance of Autodesk and Schneider Electric respective expertise will allow us to release on the market a software that will support our customers from conceptual design to detailed design to enable their economic growth and overall business efficiency while designing more sustainable buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs the role of a test automation specialist.
  • Understand the business purpose of capabilities, features and user stories. Plan and estimate testing tasks with other team members to ensure implementation satisfy the business purpose.
  • Collaborate with other team members to understand the details of how the feature/story be implemented and ensure 100% test coverage.
  • Develop code to implement the automation steps.
  • Participates in review of automation deliverables from other team members.
  • Work with other automation developers to realize the test automation for multiple features in parallel.
  • Execute the test automation on the required test infrastructure.
  • Report out the results of automation.
  • Identify and retire technical risks through evaluations and feasibilities.
  • Identify and evaluate tools to improve the test automation framework and process.
  • Own up the test environment setup and upkeep of the same.
  • Take the overall responsibility for testing end to end features and capabilities through the process all the way to (and including) UAT.
Qualifications

Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud based Web Services Testing in infrastructure platforms like Azure / AWS
  • Experience in designing test cases using various design techniques.
  • Expertise in API test automation using tools like Karate/SOAP UI.
  • Experience in Selenium with Java to automate responsive applications.
  • Experience in Java programing language.
  • Experience with Python/ Groovy scripting.
  • Experience in designing and developing various Test Automation Framework, hands on experience in handling automation framework and integrating that with CI/CD pipeline.
  • Expertise in software test automation methodologies and processes.
  • Experience in BDD (preferred) and Agile Testing practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Working with multi-site teams, Quality conscious, Process customer oriented.

Qualification -External:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software developer-Testing
  • Previous experience of Agile
