Job content

Heads the department coordinate the course at different level.
Implement syllabus including all course requirements & assignments for all students.
Gives suggestion to Principal/Vice principal regarding necessary changes in implementation of syllabus.
Design & implementation new curriculum selects & organize the learning experience. Ascertain selects & organize facilities, equipment materials for earning.
Conducts classes for students at different levels of course, evaluation students, faculty participates in the evaluation of curriculum.
Maintaining students records.
Participates/ suggests in framing institutional policies.
Participate in developing student programs, evaluation & revising.
Student policies, organization frame work.
Participate in publicizing & disseminating information about the programme.
Participate in recruitment of faculty & staff.
Plans & organize continuing education programme for faculty / hospital staff conducts evaluation & follow up in-service education programme.
Assess the learning heads for planning in service training.
Assists / Suggest Books, Journals, equipments, software, A.V. aids for facilitating student s learning.
Assist principal in procuring the required articles/items.
Supervise classrooms, labs & clinical teaching.
Evaluation student performances both in theory and clinical evaluations, supervise & mentor the senior faculty members.
Plans, organize students / faculty exchange programme.
Collaborate teaching programme with clinical staff.
Guidance & counseling of faculty/staff & students develop.
Maintains records.
Participates in committee function as lead members.
Research Assist in initiating & participate in research for improvement of the educational programme/clinical practice.
Identifies areas of research.
Helps in getting grant from other agencies to fund research project.
