Roles and Responsibilities


1.Design, develop, and maintain client-side (web-based) software, in an Agile environment for the Wealth Management domain in the Financial industry

2.Maintain the existing code base: implement web interfaces, consume APIs, deliver functional requirements, and document

3.Work with the established frameworks to on-board new Clients and Customers and represent the company in web requirement gathering and delivery discussions

4.Work cooperatively and productively with other Software Engineers and Management



Desired Candidate Profile


1.Minimum 2-5 years of experience developing web applications

2.Up-to-date understanding of responsive web design, HTML, CSS, browser compatibility, and web standards such as HTTPS and Restful APIs

3.Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Angular or other JavaScript MVC style frameworks like React, Ember, or Knockout

4.Experience with TypeScript, Visual Studio Code a plus as we use it heavily

5.Familiarity working in an Agile environment with unit/E2E tests, source control, code reviews, and CI

6.Good attention to detail

7.An interest in problem-solving, collaborating and delivering user-friendly software products

8.Keeping things simple, elegant, organized, reliable, secure, well documented, and on time

9.Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within a small team of developers

10.Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new concepts, techniques, and approaches

11.University degree in Information Technology/System, Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines

12.Fluent in English

13.Experience with server-side technologies a plus e.g. ASP.NET, C# and IIS preferred, or other similar server-side MVC technologies like Node, Ruby, Java, or PHP can be considered

14.Experience with cloud hosting technologies a plus e.g. Azure and/or AWS cloud hosting preferred, a mobile experience like Cordova preferred"
