JD: Website Experience Manager
As our Shopify Website Experience Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our Shopify website, ensuring seamless user experiences, and driving sales through effective product updates and website analytics.
Website Analytics:
- Utilize analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to analyze website traffic and user behavior.
- Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues through data analysis.
- Should be well versed with GTM, GA4, Hotjar to understand user’s interaction with the website
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance website performance.
User Experience & Personalization:
- Continuously improve the user experience of the Shopify website by implementing design enhancements, navigation improvements, and user interface optimizations.
- Finding out new ways to engage with the consumers on site.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement changes and enhancements.
Product Updates:
- Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to ensure timely updates and launches of new products.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize product visibility and search rankings.
- Optimizing the existing product listings
Please NOTE that this profile is NOT about updating/adding product database to the website but to work on delivering consumer experience along with analysing consumer journeys
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing Shopify websites for 1 year and implementing website improvements for minimum 3 years.
- E-commerce experience is a must.
- Agency background would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of website analytics and proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GTM. Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar etc).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and development teams.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, user experience design, and conversion optimization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
