you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational objectives. A Chartered Accountant (CA)qualification is mandatory for this role due to the complex financial nature of the manufacturing sector and the need for expertise in financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with department heads and senior management.

Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any audit findings.

Monitor and analyze costs related to production, inventory, and overheads to identify areas for cost optimization.

Implement cost control measures to improve efficiency and profitability.

Identify and assess financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement appropriate hedging mechanisms.

Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.

Evaluate investment proposals, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.

Conduct financial due diligence for potential investments or partnerships.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

**Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strategic thinking and business acumen.
