Analyst/ Senior Analyst – USI Pursuits CoE – Growth & Offerings

If you would like to be in a role that leverages your strengths to support Deloitte’s most important clients, this could be the role for you. The role provides an opportunity to get involved in activities that help develop executing strategic initiatives related to Audit and Assurance strategy.

Work you’ll do

This position will be a part of the USI Growth and offerings team that drives the efforts our Audit & Assurance practice to execute against the Audit & Assurance Strategy to grow, transform, and reinvent our practice.

Work with the core team to support ongoing strategic initiatives and presentations as needed. Representative current strategic initiatives include:

Comprehensive Private Company Strategy - Develop an end to end Private company strategy that incorporates all elements of growth, quality, talent development, and audit delivery.
Develop bottom-up 3-year market growth plan with Public, PEI, Private, EGC, ARA market opportunity, and align more robust investment/resource planning
Participate in daily touchpoint and weekly team calls to ensure integration
Interactive dashboards for various service offerings under the umbrella of Audit and Assurance to support the US stakeholders to assist in targeting efforts
Monthly budget forecasting & reporting (review budget to actuals, analyze variances, develop forecast)
Audit & Assurance C&I Dashboard
PMD succession planning
Support pilot programs related to the Integrated Go-to-Market model
Document cross functional wins and gather supporting details
Understand the current industry and market trends and support the US team on devising growth strategies around it. Provide regular market updates by presenting relevant data summaries, findings, and analysis on these trends
Create and maintain the single source of records for all the data around the relevant growth and go-to-market strategies. Effectively manage the version control on one drive, MS teams and manage access control for the whole team.
Work with partners and senior leadership to present analysis and findings and work with them on the relevant growth strategies
Perform fee benchmarking analysis as requested by select engagements (training to be provided) to support the team’s fee discussions
Perform cross board analyses for Platinum client boards to identify board affiliations with other clients
Assist with redaction of actual client communications and help to identify innovative leading practices to share with the broader practice
Track ad hoc requests from the field and our responses to enable to team to leverage work previously completed

Qualification and experience

Required:
5-8 years of professional experience in analysis and reporting, market research, marketing, or business development field
MBA and/or Masters in relevant field

Skills

Excellent PowerPoint skills to create and share decks for senior leadership in the Firm.
Strong Excel skills to analyze large sets of data.
Proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI a plus.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to structure an extended written argument.
Strong relationship building skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; outstanding analytical, research and presentation skills.
Ability to apply critical thinking to identify data issues and determine proper approach/process to resolve those issues.
An ability to build professional relationships, a spirit of co-operation, and a flexible approach to work are required.
An ability to meet fixed reporting and presentation deadlines.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Excellent project management skills.
Understanding of Audit business, a plus.
