Key Responsibilities:

Inventory management Inventory Planning

• Reason and root cause analysis for inventory increasing and decreasing
• Develop action to control the inventory level
• Driving the Inventory health improvement through monthly SLOB review
• Work with Demand/Supply planning team to recognize demand patterns and improve safety stock management to maintain an optimum inventory level.

Supply Planning & Customer Service (Management)

• Monitor and manage OTD of customers
• Monitor and manage supplier late backlogs
• Manage shortages/backorders

Continuously improve On time delivery.

• Identify potential risk on delivery through late order/open order review
• Lead the supply planning team to develop catch up plan and follow up in case of shortage
• Optimizing the planning process and strategy for stock availability improvement.
• Proactively communicate with cross function team to streamline the supply chain process and maintain the service level.

Work with demand planning team to improve the Planning process and stocking strategy

• Keep tracking and analyze the actual demand trend and work with demand planning team to adjust forecast and stock level
• Participant S&OP meeting with each BU and contribute idea to improve the accuracy of consensus forecast (Actively participate in S &Ops process and be a strong stake holder of the process)
• Improve the planning process through day to day planning management

Work with Customer service team and distribution center team to

• Enhance our customer service levels, improving execution while introducing the sharing of best practices from the regions in DIFS
• 3PL provider operation management for DC warehouse planning, level of service and warehouse cost control
• Closely work with domestic and inter-entity customers to improve customer satisfaction

Fully utilize system to continuously improve planning accuracy

• Increase the utilization of Oracle.
• Maintain the system parameters to continue improve the planning accuracy.
• Adopt Donaldson standard planning processes
• Planning parameter maintenance and optimization to improve the planning accuracy and efficiency
• Develop tactical and lead the supply planning team to adjust the order releasing process when needed
• Use available tools through BI to improve the supply chain visibility

Team management

• Continues to improve the working efficiency of the supply planning team
• Upgrade the skillset of the team through day to day coaching and training
• Help the planning team members to manage good work life balance

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / MBA (SCM)
• APICS or other forecasting certification preferred.

Technical Competence & Skills:

• Familiar with Oracle
• Excellent in Microsoft excel, access, word and power point,
• Strong statistics and analysis skills
• Knowledge of Import and Export Management
• Negotiation Skills
