Job Title: Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Sr. Executive
Entity: CERA Sanitaryware Ltd.
Locations: Sonipat, Kurukshetra, Rohtak
Function: Sales
Position Summary:
The role holder is responsible for sales execution, dealer management, market development, collections, dealer network expansion and sales operations
The role holder is accountable to the respective supervisors for providing effective support in achieving sales targets
Individuals with higher experience within the same Job Level are expected to demonstrate the described role requirements to advanced degrees
Key Responsibilities:
Area Description
Sales execution
Responsible for:
a) achieving predefined sales targets, year on year growth and product mix targets
b) effective implementation of sales strategy in their assigned territory
c) touring the field to understand local market conditions
d) generating primary & secondary sales orders from dealers in their assigned territory
e) communicating product portfolio, features of product and schemes to dealers
f) negotiating trade discount with dealer within limits of various schemes, ensuring collections
g) collating sales information and preparing reports as required by senior management
Managing dealer relationships
Responsible for interacting with various dealers and supporting supervisor in managing dealer relationships
Responsible for supporting supervisor in ensuring high dealer satisfaction and prompt resolution of dealer complaints
Responsible for escalating dealer issues to supervisor and/or head office wherever necessary
Gathering market and competitor intelligence
Responsible for conducting assessment of local market and understanding factors such as competitors, number of dealers, market potential, etc.
Responsible for supporting supervisors in growing and developing assigned territory
Responsible for gathering local competitor intelligence
Responsible for interacting with end customers, developing insights regarding consumer behavior and needs and communicating them to marketing and HO teams through supervisor
Supporting dealer network expansion
Responsible for
a) identifying possible new dealers and converting them
b) ensuring adherence to new dealer addition process
c) onboarding of new dealers
Managing sales operations
Responsible :
a) execution of schemes for both dealers, sub-dealer and customers
b) effective utilization of marketing collateral within assigned territory
c) coordination with depot regarding fulfillment of sales orders
d) managing documentation pertaining to sales and sales order processing
e) providing HO & accounts with relevant data as and when necessary
f) coordination with dealers regarding billing, invoicing and follow up for payments
g) coordination with Service team for claims handling etc.
