Role Summary

Associate Analyst: Global Mobility: Implements and executes mobility programs and services supporting employee short- and long-term transfers, assignments, country entry and domestic or international relocation. Advises managers on mobility policies and practices; gathers and completes required information and applications for processing. Facilitates immigration status applications and employment authorization for employees and candidates. Serves as partner and point of contact with counsel, government agencies and third-party vendors providing immigration, relocation and mobility support. Assists in communicating relocation packages; answers questions and resolves escalated issues from employees. Stays current with laws, regulations and procedures governing international mobility and immigration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitation of Long & Short-Term Assignments: Core responsibilities include:

a) Work with HR Business partners, Finance, HR Operations, legal team and managers to ensure a smooth transition for all assignees globally. This includes being partner to business team members and Business during assignment planning stage, visa and immigration process, relocation benefits administration, extensions if needed and up to the assignee repatriation

b) Create process documents to detail specific methods for accomplishing a task to support policies and may include components such as the circumstances and the stakeholders responsible for carrying out the procedure

c). Administers changes to the existing process documents for Global Mobility and create for those processes which are not documented Create guidelines and standards provide for best practices to be adhered to

2. Immigration: Core responsibilities include:

a) Process Work visa requests for all the countries globally by partnering internally within the team and with the attorneys/vendor partners

b) Key focus on initiating and managing various immigrant and non-immigrant Visas for US (H1/H4, L1/L2, TN/TD, EB1/EB2 EB3 I-140, I-485, PERM)

b) Track the Visa/I 94 Expiry and initiate the extension timely to ensure the immigration status is maintained

c) Immigration Compliance management focusing on but not limited to minimum wage, UK-PBS Compliance & US-LCA Public Access File compliance

3. Preparation for Visa interviews: Assist the employees for their visa interview preparation. This will include, providing them company documentation, briefing on visa interview process. Collect the information on interview experience at the consulate. Observe rejection trends and apply learning’s from the trends for future cases. Conduct one on one meeting with team members for visa rejections and advice business on next steps

4. Research and Networking: As needed by the company research for Immigration processes for new geographies by using various sources like internet, consulate procedures, connecting with other industry members. Design document and implement the processes for new geographies.

5. Contract Management: Administration of contracts with relocation/Immigration vendor partners and timely renewal of the contracts due to expire following processes defined by the legal team

6. Partner in team projects: Work on process optimization and automation projects as required by the manager.

7. Open to taking on new/ additional responsibility in Mobility team as per the business/team need

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in US Immigrant/Non-Immigrant Visas
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and team members
  • Highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office suite

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior Experience with vendor management
  • Relocation and immigration specific experience or equivalent
  • MBA in Human Resources
