Strategy

  • To ensure a smooth, timely, accurate and error-free Monitoring & Scheduling of cash flows / advising funding figures to FO for managed accounts / Analyzing & explaining Nostro account balances / Justifying & accounting Nostro OD charges and related activities in the Unit.

Business

  • Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed for the processes from time to time.
  • Upholding the Values of the Group and Company always.

Processes

  • Monitoring managed accounts/ cash flows / Analyzing OD accounts as per Departmental Operating Instructions within the timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
  • Monitor cash flows and arrive at funding balances for respective nostros to advice to Treasury Markets.
  • Ensure to complete all allocated BAU within stipulated time.
  • To follow laid down processes and provide details to LM or to OR for KCSA checks.

Risk Management

  • No Failed Audits, resolution of agreed findings must be completed no later than the original target date without deferral/extension.

Governance

  • Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.
  • Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and report all suspicious transactions to the Unit Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with GOR procedures with emphasis on adherence to KCS, execution of KCSA and submission of KRI’s.
  • All authorities and responsibilities listed herein should be carried out strictly in compliance with GPCW Delegation of Authority as updated from time to time.
  • Always adhere to GCOC .

Our Ideal Candidate

Role Specific Experience and Technical Competencies:

  • Project management - including the development, implementation and ongoing management of project plans / timelines, RAID logs etc
  • Experience of working in multi-faceted projects with direct exposure to multiple stakeholders (eg across Project teams, Design, Engineering, Testing etc)
  • Ability to generate clear / concise business requirements and associated documentation
  • Ability to generate clear / concise test cases and related test plans
  • Experience in overseeing UATs and parallel runs, related status updates on daily stand ups and stakeholder meetings
  • Experience in Nostro Management, including nostro forecasting and intraday liquidity management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to self-organise and prioritise workload
  • Able to manage people / delegate project related work effectively
  • Good knowledge of payments and related SWIFT messages across the lifecycle (instruction, intraday confirmation and EOD statement related)
  • Some experience / knowledge of Treasury’s role and related execution / products is beneficial
  • Some knowledge of nostro reconciliations, as well as settlement and confirmation related processes is beneficial
