Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving revenue growth and managing the P&L within the Branch by successfully managing all departments and lines of
  • Drives culture Sets the expectation for Safety, work ethic, professionalism, ownership of the business and shares pride in the Branch and the Branch’s successes
  • Direct supervision of department managers and supervisors (Number of office and field employees will vary by branch size) by providing direction and training, and communicating company policies, procedures and objectives
  • Implement Company’s commitment to customer service and safety programs; includes performing safety audits when necessary and stressing the importance of safety to all employees
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the overall market area, including sales backlog, service and repair volume, market penetration, volume of outstanding bids, available new business, special projects, and staffing requirements and availability
  • Maintain strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes, and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods
  • Effectively coordinate with the Central Team and ensure seamless supply of resources (material, manpower) for effective execution
  • To have control on all functioning & correspondences made to HO / Customers / Branches etc from branch.
  • Identify measures of improvement and streamline departmental process by establishing logical reporting structure, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • To curb Attrition rate of the existing as well as newly joined employees. You are responsible to keep the attrition rate to Zero level always through all the possible means.

Key Job Responsibilities

Sales and CRM related roles

  • Work with sales managers to increase customer base or depending on the branch size, directly handle the sales management responsibilities Includes meeting with and making presentations to current and potential customers
  • Create proposals and coordinate for approval from Central team
  • Drive the local sales team for achievement of targets
  • Explore avenues for creation of new leads
  • Coordinate with Central team for review/approval of revenue/margins prior to submission of proposals
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, elevator consultants, building owners, managers and prospects
  • Review and approve invoices, accounts receivables and ensure on time collection of outstanding
  • New business development through Market research, customer relations management, new business acquisitions & competitor’s analysis.

Installations related roles

  • Plan the installation activity and coordinate with Central Planning Team for allocation of resources
  • Ensure occupancy and efficiency of the resources in the installation team and seek to explore avenues to improve utilization and reduce outsourcing costs
  • Monitor sub contractor activities and verify sub contractor bills and explore areas for cost management
  • Follow up for receipt of material on time for execution of activities at the site
  • Make periodic site visits and oversee new installations
  • Coordinate with Central team for review/approval of revenue/margins prior to submission of proposals
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are complied with

Maintenance and Modernization related roles

  • Review the efficiency and occupancy of technicians
  • Ensure compliance to service response time of Escon
  • Ensure 100% compliance to preventive maintenance schedules signed up with customers
  • Review customer feedback and ensure prompt resolution of complaints
  • Meet key customers and explore opportunities for additional revenue generation
  • Convert new customers for Escon and ensure meeting revenue and profitability goals for this segment
  • Responsible for TIS revenue generation.
  • Take technical guidance from head office for all technical issues
  • For getting new AMCs for a minimum of 25 lifts and for retention of the existing of all AMC clients in a year. Any loss of an existing client should be compensated by getting the same number of new AMCs.
  • You are responsible to monitor closely and obtain the AMC renewed on the same month of expiry at an incremental hike with a minimum of 10% of the previous year.

Store related roles

  • Manage stores at Branch and at site
  • Plan for material and raise requisitions
  • Ensure maintenance of proper records for stock at branch office and site
  • Coordinate for receipt of on time material and spares

HR & Branch Operations related roles

  • Proactively recruit and hire new talent
  • Ensure the branch’s daily operations run efficiently and cost effectively, monitoring staff performance and morale, and overseeing office, warehouse and site activities
  • Ensure that all HR matters are coordinated with the Central team
  • Mediate and resolve complaints and problems of external and internal customers,
  • Ensures managers evaluate employee performance. Includes verifying that promotions and merit increases are based on performance
  • Consult with Central Team in areas of operations, sales, accounting, safety and human resources
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

Site visit

  • To visit the sites with representative of departments to understand the problems and provide solutions.
  • To visit the sites along with sales & Mod team periodically in order to understand the market conditions, current and prospective sales opportunities etc.

Training

  • Identifying training needs of various functions of the branch, and devising periodic training plans (i.e. For Supervisors, Installation Engineer, COB Engineers / QC Engineers)
  • Effective communication with respective functions.
  • Weekly training should be there for upcoming employees. And the training provided should be evaluated and suggestive or improvement measures should be taken for the betterment. You should take the initiative of imparting Training to the new employees by sharing your positive experience with the Team.

Management Information System (MIS) & Report Updating

  • Maintaining timely reports of Erection status at sites for Sanpada Branch.
  • Timely updating of Payment Status through proper report & bill clearance.
  • Proper updating of Sales order reports for COB clearance, Material planning, Store room or material status, & other work reports.
  • Timely preparation & submission of MIS reports (every 15 days)
  • Generating and maintaining data for Business Generation.
  • Identifying the issue in delay of installation work & sorting out the same.
  • Profit and loss Analysis including Profit enhancement.
  • MRM reports for all departments
