Writing detailed estimates based on projected costs and materials needed for each job
Installing windows and doors and constructing frames for them
Inspecting completed projects for structural integrity and safety issues
Working with architects, designers, and other construction professionals to create drawings that detail the layout of a project
Building structures such as fences, staircases, decks, and sheds using wood or concrete materials
Installing drywall and other materials to create a smooth surface for walls and ceilings
Building structures such as scaffolding and ramps using wood or metal components
Installing flooring such as carpet, linoleum, or hardwood, using nails or glue to hold it in place
