About you and this role - What you would do in this role
As the Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, build/development, test, implementation, and support of enterprise security solutions to ensure quality and on-time, on-budget delivery together with IT architects, business partners and other parties including external consultants and vendors.
You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that SLA and OLAs are met.
Responsibilities – Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role.
  • Leverages technology and learns how Information Technology integrates with other disciplines across Dow in order to mitigate risk (e.g. web content filters, proxies, email security capabilities, security practices, advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls, and anti-virus).
  • Work directly with customers and partners to gather a full understanding of project scope and business requirements, work closely with IT and development teams to design secure solutions and applications, facilitate the implementation of protective and mitigating controls.
  • Support service-level-agreements (SLAs) to ensure that security controls are managed and maintained.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents to solve problems.
  • Focuses on information security innovation and threat monitoring within the Information Technology environment at Dow.
  • Provides responsive support and problem resolutions.
  • After hour and weekend on call is required.
Qualifications – Required education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills – An expanded list of qualifications that are “nice to have”, but not essential.
  • A degree discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems or other math/science related field.
  • Experience with Cloud and Cloud Security especially on Microsoft Azure Cloud, including Azure AD/SSO, Azure MFA, Azure RMS, Key Vault/Disk Encryption, Microsoft Cloud Application Security, Security Center, OMS, O365 Security, etc.
  • Experience with CyberArk and IBM Guardium is a plus.
  • Programming/Scripting skills such as PowerShell, etc is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication.
