Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for transformers, including but not limited to winding

arrangements, insulation systems, cooling systems, and control circuits.

Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure the performance and reliability of

transformer designs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and

quality assurance personnel to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into transformer

designs.

Conduct feasibility studies and research on new technologies to improve the efficiency, performance,

and cost-effectiveness of transformer designs.

Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and test procedures.

Provide technical support to manufacturing, testing, and field service teams as needed.

Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to transformer design and electrical

engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.

X+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the transformer or power industry.

Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, transformer theory, and power systems.

Experience with electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis tools.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as IEEE, IEC, and ANSI.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
