Key Responsibilities

· Develop new design concepts and plans to meet the organizational goals of product development and product improvement · Carry out detailed mechanical design, simulation, and design verification by performing physical testing on engineering prototypes as required of water treatment components and systems. · Ensures design files and information are kept up to date and stored in accordance with departmental procedures for Documentation Control · Work closely with external vendors, OEM manufacturers, and tool design engineers to ensure products are designed for manufacture. · Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes, mechanical components · Organize & maintain existing engineering records · Experience 5-8 years with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in product design having worked in one complete cycle of New Product development · Good understanding of SolidWorks – Part modeling, Assembly, & Drawing - with basic engineering calculations · Experience in constructing parametric CAD models, should have good command on Drawing Standards, GD&T, and its Functional applications. · Experience in DFM, DFA, Manufacturing process & Materials for Plastic & Sheet Metal. · Knowledge of Injection Molding process, Sheet metal stamping, Fabrication, Packaging & Prototyping methods
