Job Title: -Desktop Support Engineer

Department: -Technical

Hierarchy Level: -Middle

Gender Preference: -Male/Female

Pay Structure: -35,000-45,000/- (5 years-10 years)

Reporting To: -Technical Director

Location: -Must be living at Customer Site (Faridabad)

JOB BRIEF: -We are looking for a skilled and experienced Support Engineer to join our team and help us design, implement and maintain Desktop & Network infrastructure for our organization. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Troubleshooting & Networking and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

ü Design, implement and maintain Desktop / L2 & Network infrastructure for up to 250 Users

ü Should know Troubleshooting, Networking & Manage Switches, Router & Firewall

ü Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Desktop & Network infrastructure and applications.

ü Experience in designing, implementing and managing, Desktop, network and security.

ü Excellent communication and collaboration skills

KEY RESPONSIBILTY

· It will cover maintenance for desktop, laptops, and printers and other peripherals with asset inventory.

· Receiving, recording, and prioritization of service calls from Users.

· Monitoring and status tracking of all registered calls for Users.

· First line support.

· Escalation and referral to other organizations/vendors.

· Coordinating second and third party support.

· Diagnosing and solving hardware related issues.

· Anti-virus management will cover desktop, laptop and server software by applying patches organization.

· User account management – Creation, updating, deletion and maintenance of user account as per client organization direction and policy.

· Monitoring CPU utilization, disk space usage, using server management tools in built in the server OS.

· Resolving server problems like system ‘hang’, hard disk crash .

· Managing user accounts – creating / modifying / deleting users and groups.

· Re-installing OS on the same servers in case required.

· Backup and DR of servers - as defined in section on Backup Management.

· Vendor / Fault Management - Identifying LAN faults and getting them resolved through vendors providing maintenance services.

· Leased Line / WAN Link Management - Generate trouble ticket after logging a call with leased line / WAN link provider and telephonic follow up on the same.

· User account management - Creation, updation, deletion and maintenance of user accounts as per client organization directions and policy.

· Desktop / Laptops Printers.

· Networking equipment Software License.

· Create hardware asset database by recording information such as configuration details, serial number, asset code. Exact movement within site / locations. Changes in configuration of machines.

EDUCATION

ü Minimum Education: -Graduation in B Tech/ MCA/Computer Science or IT equivalent

EXPERIENCE

ü Minimum Experience: -5-10 Years of minimum experience in Desktop Support Engineer or related fields.

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
