Job Title - Electrical Operations In charge

Location - Vapi / Valsad

Qualification - B.Tech Electrical

CTC - 10-12 LPA

Experience - 6-10 Years

Industry - Leading Manufacturing Industry

Position Summary

Plan and monitor electrical jobs in respective area to ensure electrical assets give rated performance throughout their rated life

• Responsible for operation of electrical assets systems for maximizing operational performance
  

Roles And Responsibilities

Process Management

• Account for timely updation of all equipment/process related information into SAP for designated area
• Prepare present functional performance w.r.t. developments, maintenance project progress (B C type) to the DH FH
• Follow execution of the functional policies processes at shop floor
  

Operations Training

• Identify and communicate to Manager maintenance for the implementation of training programs for the development of electrical team
• Ensure that the Operatives assigned to divisions are trained for particular role
  

Operations Management

• Responsible for health and performance of all Electrical devices in the assigned plant/divisions
• Responsible for operations of DG, own power generations Power changeover
• Monitor and report maintenance expense for assigned plant/divisions
• Take daily line-walk into area of ownership and plan for corrections on identified deviations, communicated major deviation to the superiors
• Build monthly MIS report for functional performance
• Responsible for 100% compliance of statutory regulatory requirement in area of ownerships
• Initiate identify the area for the energy conservations
• Prepare schedule for interlock logic testings
  

Asset Management

• Implement maintenance plan ( Preventive maintenance, calibration and Conditioning monitoring schedule) for all electrical equipment systems of assigned divisions / plants
• Prepare review the maintenance plan into system
• Accountable for maximum plant uptime by reducing no. of breakdowns and reducing repair time
• Prepare complete maintenance process in SAP-PM (Creation of PR, PM/CM planning and scheduling as per designated area)
• Prepare account for maintenance budget control the maintenance cost for assigned plant/divisions
• Prepare maintain critical spare management - specific to installed base in division
• Initiate and review AMC for critical systems and equipment
• Maintain, change, and update data / addition of new asset into SAP-PM as per defined maintenance process
  

Jobs Management

• Accountable responsible for, no job of Electrical is to be carried out without PTW in the area of ownership
• Responsible for preparing PTW, clearances from process, job prioritisation, JSA, tool box for the assigned technicians in assigned plant/divisions
• Initiate and approve permits as per approval matrix
• Review ensure all the maintenance activities are carried out as per procedures guidelines
• Create SWO into SAP approve measurement sheet
• Create and close notifications and orders into SAP
  

Defects Management

• Organise do the RCA (Root cause analysis) for process deviations due to Electrical, breakdown and accountable for successful implementation of its findings at shop floor
• Review monitor maintenance performance in division and escalate issues to Elect. maintenance manager
• Accountable for defects / Incidents due to - Design selection, life, Poor quality, Gap in Hazard analysis JSA, due to wrong spares used
  

Management of Change

• Initiate responsible for MOC documents from own functions in case of any change
• Ensure that no Electrical change happens outside the purview of MOC in area of ownership
• Design and prepare engineering design, details for new electrical interlock, preparing PR for MOC projects
• Timely execute all electrical jobs for MOC projects
  

Emergency Response and Control Planning

• Identify educate team/stakeholders on all possibilities of emergencies, critical scenarios in electrical systems
• Ensure that maintenance team is trained about all possible emergency scenario and equipped to handle it in safe manner
• Participate in mock drills and plans for execution of mock drill observation in the area of ownership
  

Learning and Development

• Attend the planned trainings and understand the subject by asking timely questions
• Provide shop floor training to the team members
• Upgrade skill in self and subordinates by adopting new technologies, visiting exhibitions, participating in conferences etc.
• Suggest ideas for improvements and initiative for better project performance
• Encourage and motivate team to think and work towards the possibility of improvements in assigned projects / tasks
