Candidate should have Experience in Both Hardware and Software development.
Must have Sensing technology assessment & system architecture development
Languages – Embedded ‘C’, etc.
Electronic Circuit / PCB Design – OrCAD/Altium
Required Qualification and Experience:
Masters (ME/ M-tech) in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience (Bachelors with 5+ years) in electronics system development – sensing system integration, IoT/IIoT sensing & data acquisition systems.
Experience with specification development for industrial sensing system development based on requirements digestion and understanding.
Experience with system level architecture development of the identified sensing system & its integration to existing process.
Experience in selection of vendors for selected sensing solution, working with suppliers and system manufacturing partners to establish mutually beneficial relationships for cost – effective process monitoring and automation system solutions.
Execute verification and validation of your systems: complete functional verification, signal characterization, power simulation/testing and system level testing.
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and – manufacturing support.
Experience with custom mechanical packaging development – for sensor integration to harsh or unique industrial environments.
Experienced in Embedded Electronics validation/characterization tasks (hardware and firmware), and familiarity with associated lab tools and equipment.
Ability to work well in a group situation and facing stakeholders in plant and global R&D
Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to management and functional teams.
Ability to accomplish objectives under minimal supervision, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
Design, simulate, and verify performance of sensing solutions, including analog/digital circuit design, signal/power analysis and communication interfaces.
Knowledge & experience in RF / microwave technology is preferred
Familiarity with schematic creation and PCB design tools and scripting and Automation tools for data collection and analysis.
Fundamental understanding of image processing algorithms.
Experience in performing image analysis and feature engineering will be a plus
Familiarity with industrial regulatory & standard requirements (e.g. FCC, IEC, CE, etc.)
