Job DESCRIPTION:

You will be a contributing member for electronics software and hardware, focused on the development of research applications.
Designing, Programming and testing embedded systems including individual modules like motor control, sensor circuit, etc. using embedded C assembly language.
Working on different IoT and Robotics projects.
Interfacing D.C motors, actuators, and various sensors with micro-controllers in cross-platform using different communication protocols like RS232, TCP/IP, UART Serial.
Drive projects in all phases from specification to final product. Extensive understanding of all phases of product development
Create and review specification documents ensuring that the designs are in compliance with project specifications and industry standards
Create multi-layer PCB design and layout using Altium Designer or KiCAD
Create Gerber data and package all files for fabrication.
Document and archive schematic diagrams, PCB assembly drawings, PCB mechanical support drawings, and wiring harness drawings.

Work with vendor manufacturers to communicate and provide clarity during PCB fabrication

Desired Profile & Competencies

Extensive Experience in programming micro-controllers like Atmel/pic, ARM, STM32, MSP, NXP LPC, etc.
Strong in Embedded C, C++, or Python programming of 8-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers.
Hands-on experience with firmware design/implementation
Hands on in working with PCB design and layout tools, review and analysis
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience of IoT implementation.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor Degree in Electronics /Computer/Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering or other relevant field.
2-5 years Design Experience.
2-3 years Embedded C programming of 8-bit and 32-bit micro-controllers
