Develops, implements and deploys Supplier Management processes and tools.

  • Implements and conducts Supplier Management in predefined methods, tools and processes. * Represents Supplier Management in cross-functional councils and assures communication of relevant information. * Identifies suppliers to be evaluated and coordinates (assignment of responsibilities). * Ensures cross-functional input/discussion and verification of evaluation results. * Reports relevant Supplier Management data. * Defines and realizes improvement measurements. Initiates corrective actions in case of deviations from the target. * Ensures systematic exchange of best practice information. * Conducts training courses on Supplier Management. * Supports cross-functional network partners related to Supplier Management.

Educational Qualification: B.E (Electrical / Mechanical) Preferred. Any engineering.

Overall work experience:6- 8 years

Industries preferred:Manufacturing like Wind, Automotive, Power, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment’s, EPC Companies.

Additional Details

  • Experience in Material Management
  • Handling Suppliers
  • Working Exposure on Mechanical Components and Electrical
  • Experience on SAP in Material Management /PLM Systems
  • Must do follow-up for materials and has to arrange for materials
  • Ensure there is zero-line stoppage
  • Will be supporting production team and will work with logistic team
  • Will be responsible for vendor establishment and ensure material availability all the time
  • Mechanical component procurement experience.
