Purpose

• Planning and Execution of MV / HV Cable Accessories Products Customer Factory

and Site Acceptance Testing at NKT Factories / Customer Sites

• Facilitate supply of Type Test Reports to Customers
• Witness Testing Accessories Products at Supplier / OEM Factories
• Collate / develop testing requirements for localization of accessories products
• Familiar with International and Local Standards for Accessories Products & Testing
• Support local Sales Team in evaluating and proposing project test requirements

Responsibility

• Be interface for all project testing requirements including Customer Factory & Site Acceptance Testing
• Support Sales Team in preparation of project technical documentation and test

requirements

• Maintain Type Test Reports of all Products
• Support localization of products through testing requirements and witnessing acceptance testing at Supplier factories Success criteria • MV / HV Cable Accessories knowledge
• MV / HV Cable Accessories Standards
• Knowledge of Manufacturing and Testing methodologies
• Successful completion and handover of projects
• Number of products localized and value add in Accessories product offerings
• Overall NKT SA revenue

Tasks

Primary tasks

• Responsible for all Customer Project Test requirements
• Responsible for quality compliance testing by Suppliers
• Preparing technical offers meeting customers/project test requirements and provide relevant documentation
• Regular technical training to develop own capabilities
• Good communications with NKT Global Functions, Customers and Suppliers

Requirements

Education

• Engineering Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical disciplines
• Post Graduate qualifications in Engineering / Technology will be advantageous

Experience • 5 years of professional experience in Testing Services in a technical environment, ideally in the cable or accessories industry

• Projects experience
• Preparation of Technical Proposals Languages
• English (verbal and written) and Indian Language(s) IT and Special Skills
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Simulation and Electrical / Mechanical Calculations Personal competences/

Location and Travel
