Roles and Responsibilities

Key Result Areas & Deliverables:
  • To ensure production activities as per the specification.
  • To ensure achievement of targets by monitoring plant performance for the product as per production plan.
  • To ensure compliance of preventive process cleaning scheduled, Maintenance
  • scheduled & Process safety requirements for prevention of chemical leaks.

Routine Deliverables:
  • To ensure plant, machinery & equipment are functioning in safest & proper
  • condition.
  • To Monitor waste generation at all area of process and activity and plan for its
  • reduction
  • To send samples of products for testing on day-to-day basis everyday morning to QC department for testing and to collect reports of the same.
  • To carry out stock verification periodically also carry out stock audits.
  • To identify opportunities for efficiencies improvement and implement projects to achieve the same.
  • To organize daily production schedule based on the monthly production targets for the products.
  • To plan and organize raising indent for raw material, packing material from Materials department to meet the requirements of dispatch and packing plan received from Marketing Dept.

  • To observe and monitor process parameters. In case of any deviations to discuss with operators and supervisors and ensure smooth running control on required parameters.
  • To plan for the allotment of work, for day-to-day operations and in shifts for the concerned operators and supervisors of the plant and make necessary changes as and when required.
  • To prepare production report for previous day work, in the morning every day and send it to the seniors reporting authority.
  • To ensure timely testing and certification of the equipment used in the department, by competent outside party/authority in compliance with statutory requirement.
  • To control off spec generation of finish goods by thorough process control and monitoring control.
  • To conduct of new process trial & change in process parameters after thorough discussion & with proper guidelines down the line.
  • To ensure active participation in new initiatives launched by the Organization.
  • Compliance of established SOP defined through ISO/EMS/Responsible Care.
  • Compliance of documentation


Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Candidate Profile:

B.E.- Chemical graduate having min. 5 years of experience in chemical Manufacturing firm.

Experience in continuous batch process chemical plants and knowledge of Safety Protocols is must.

Should have independently handled shift operations of a mid-large sized chemical process of manufacturing Plants.

Experience of handling SO2 Plant will be preferred.
