Mandatory skills: -

7+ years of experience

System engineering experience supporting Enterprise Operations.

Willing to work in 24X7 shifts and adjust schedule to fit deployment / maintenance events.

Troubleshooting data/message flow in a high volume zero loss environment.

Should be able to perform L3 level activities in Windows server environments. Experience in Linux would add an advantage

Experience with Patching & Security remediation to keep environment compliant.

Understanding of High Availability server designs, troubleshooting and implementations.

Experience working within Change Controls with limited maintenance windows.

Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.

Ability to be proactive and work independently with limited direction.

Good Communication & Email Skills are mandatory. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities: -

Responsible for the configuration, installation, upgrades, performance monitoring, security, and continual improvement of our servers and applications.

Responsible for supporting our systems and applications, including Microsoft SQL Servers, Active Directory, VMware, IIS, Clusters and Windows Environment.

Responsible for deployment of new solutions by following documented processes.

Monitor and resolve issues proactively.

Responsible for managing servers and performing day to day activity like package creation, patch deployment

Responsible for continuous improvement and enhancement of Infrastructure related services.

Analyze technical and business needs and recommend solutions.

Maintain positive relationships with client, end users and vendors, and consultants.

Maintain current working knowledge in the area of systems and hardware, and incorporate new developments into the future systems of the enterprise

Job Description

Supporting highly-available cross enterprise common/middleware environments on a large, global network.

Knowledge of Middleware Operations would be an added advantage. Application administration, architecture and Product/Application deployment processes.

Working with Development Teams to provide support and feedback for troubleshooting application/deployment issues.

Able to handle multiple tasks and possess proper time management skills with a focus on establishing priorities.

Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a cross-functional team.

Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors which often require interdisciplinary collaboration.

Experience with high level Windows administration and Cloud Service - Azure. (Linux administration would be added advantage)

Knowledge of common system administration tools of ( Networking (LAN and WAN), Linux, Windows, Load balancers, DNS, TCP/IP and Storage).

Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment.

Knowledge of Change Control/RFC processes. Ticketing Tool.
