Collecting data on new appliances and modern sophisticated rescue and firefighting equipments to improve the operational efficiency of the fire team.
Examine buildings to detect fire hazards and ensure that fire codes are met
Over all supervision of Fire Service administration in the Plant.
Good knowledge of current fire suppression and firefighting techniques, including all related equipment.
Prepare Implement Disaster Emergency management plan
Liaison with the local fire department
Fire Officers to ensure that all firefighters are trained and all equipment is maintained on a regular schedule
Ensure proper Installation, maintenance, refilling of firefighting equipments
Ensure hydraulic testing of fire extinguishers.
Periodical inspection and testing Fixed Fire Fighting installations Safety Equipments. Conducting Fire drills to keep up efficiency of firefighting crew.
On site off site Emergency plan preparation, implementation and its updating.
Organizing for contingency drill (MOCK DRILL) Fire drills.
