Job Description:

· Applies scientific and engineering principles in research, development, production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and utilization of foods: Conducts basic research, and new product research and development of foods.

· Establish the food application lab to run trials for product development related with Bakery, Beverages, Dairy Products, Confectionary etc.

Key Responsibilities:

· Evaluate the quality of raw materials used for new product development.

· analyse requried test of sample received from outside and prepare their analysis report.

· Take new trials of project work as per the approval and preparation of trial reports.

· Maintain all log book and document file of R&D lab.

· Maintain chemical receiving, glassware breakage and receiving records.

· Prepare requried SOPs.

· Analyse the in-process/finished product samples whenever required as a part of process /product improvement.

· In-process monitoring as per the requirement of projects.

· Maintain all the trial samples and outside samples and their records.

· To write technical research paper

· Responsible to report HOD based on the daily work allocation & the relevant assignments by him.
