Job SummaryThe HR Reporting and Analytics Specialist assists in developing the strategic direction for the utilization of human resources data in creating both transparency and insights to the broader organization and is fully responsible for executing that strategy. He/she is involved in the formulation of the vision, approach, and design for the end-to-end capability within human resources. The HR Reporting and Analytics Specialist provides guidance on the use and delivery of human resources data used in everyday aspects of reporting and partners with key leadership across the organization in identifying and fulfilling human resource data needs that provide insight and enablement of their respective business and talent strategies, with a key focus on human capital reporting, insights, and analytics.

The HR Reporting and Analytics Specialist reports directly to the Director, Global HR Operations, and partners closely with other members of HR including our DE&I, talent acquisition, talent development, HRIS, total rewards and HR business partner functions. He/she interacts with all levels of our organization both within HR and our internal business clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads a highly integrated human resources reporting and analytics capability to provide insights that enable business decisions, predict and measure business impact, improve performance and advance the use and understanding of complex analytical techniques and statistical, critical thinking across human resources
  • Consults with HR leadership on the design and implementation of innovative strategic human capital scorecards, dashboards and standard reporting that drive the achievement of core organization strategies
  • Owns and executes on all HR dashboards, reporting, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Partners closely with HRIS to leverage existing HR technology, including Workday, in reporting and analytics development
  • Defines the tools and skills required for this end-to-end human resource capability to deliver upon its strategic intent
  • Collaborates with leaders at all levels, solution delivery teams and other business or function stakeholders to build partnerships that foster an understanding of the strategic direction of this human resource capability and their respective role in helping to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Leads the annual effort on sustainability and ESG HR reporting
  • Directly manages compliance reporting including EEO, AAP, etc.
  • Participates in and sometimes leads HR projects/programs; establishes project objectives, timelines, resource needs and deliverables; communicates to stakeholders on status of projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Human Resources, Shared Services, HRIS or Talent in a reporting/analytical capacity
  • Prior experience in a human capital analytics organization or center of excellence
  • Demonstrated experience creating and manipulating complex reporting and analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to connect human capital insights to business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative analysis into understandable, actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability with project management and process improvement
  • Expert level experience building reports, dashboards and also creating Executive Leadership level reports and decks
  • Demonstrated experience managing and selecting Recruiting, PMP, Talent tools and tracking for ROI

QUAIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Expert level experience with MS Excel and Business Objects and/or Power Business Intelligence 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present in front of large groups and senior leaders
  • Strong knowledge of current technical applications including MS Office suite and Workday; ability to learn new software programs with ease
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision, consistently taking the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others
  • Ability to work with a variety of people, possessing tact discretion and diplomacy
  • Analytic skills and ability to made decisions or recommendations as appropriate
  • Strong focus on details; ability to crosscheck and audit data to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to pull together metrics, reporting, presentations, etc. with a level of professionalism required to present to senior levels of the organization
