ROLE PURPOSE:

In the Portal team, the developers are included at all levels of the development process. They are both allowed to, and expected to, provide their own contributions and viewpoints, and make solution proposals – often in cooperation with customer representatives. This is both great freedom and great responsibility for the individual developer. In the Portal team we provide an open and supportive atmosphere where we safely can provide viewpoints on all aspects of the Portal solution, processes and team.

Responsibilities:

  • Master (Bachelor) degree in computer science or similar
  • Experienced web front-end and server back-end developer
  • Java (knowledge of Java EE on Weblogic server is a plus)
  • HTML/CSS
  • JavaScript (e.g. JQuery)
  • HTTP and REST (incl. XML, json, odata, soap)
  • Git
  • Simple database design and queries (Oracle RDBMS)
  • Automated unit testing
  • Basic design skills
  • Soft skills:
    • Self-driven and autonomous
    • Analytical mindset
    • Able to participate in architecture and design discussions
    • Able to provide solution proposals and estimates
    • Able to communicate with stakeholders, including customer representatives
    • Fluent in English


Desired Skills and Experience:

Work Experience - 2-8 years experience in Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (e.g. JQuery), GIT, Simple database design and queries (Oracle RDBMS).

Education - Engineering, BCA, MCA or similar qualification

Functional Knowledge - Manufacturing industry knowledge will be a plus

Technical Knowledge - Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (e.g. JQuery), GIT, Simple database design and queries (Oracle RDBMS)

Nice to have Ticket Management, ITIL

Language- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory
