Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our engineering team who has development experience in architecting and developing object-oriented applications in Java/J2EE

Responsibilities
  • Architecture, design and implementation of enterprise applications in J2EE environment
  • Subject Matter Expert in Architecture, Specifications and standards
  • Ability to learn business and technologies quickly
  • Developing proof of concept, prototype
  • Perform architecture and code review
  • Should have lead group of developers
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Architects and Product Management to ensure the architecture and design is aligned with the enterprise standards and best practices
  • Design of Security architecture and implementation
  • Lead project team of developers and other technical resources
  • Implement the solution through the entire lifecycle and provide support and maintenance as needed
Requirements

Skills for the role
  • 5 plus years of overall experience in delivering technology solutions
  • 4 or more years of experience in designing and developing enterprise applications in J2EE environment
  • 3 plus years in Spring Framework with Spring Boot , Microservices
  • Architecture, design and development of J2EE applications in a web based and distributed architecture environment
  • Experience with Deployment and administration of web applications and services
  • Work in an agile development team and participate in the planning and execution of work items
  • Strong background and experience in technologies & frameworks such as:
    • Spring Framework with Spring Boot , Microservices, Web Services
    • XML, SOAP, REST, JSON
    • HTML, CSS, Javascript
    • UI frameworks for Web and Mobile (React, Angular)
    • AWS,Jenkins, Swagger, Jira, SonarQube, Junit, GitHub, Maven/Gradle
  • Experience with RDBMS ( PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience in NoSQL technologies is a plus
  • Developing CI/CD solutions by enforcing automation in building, testing and deployment of applications
  • Experience in Application containerization and Container orchestration
  • Experience with load/performance test frameworks
  • Excellent Analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
