Job Location: Chennai

Job Responsibility

· Assemble Lithium-Ion Battery Packs for electric vehicle and utility segment.

· Test, Sort and Identify Cylindrical/Prismatic Cells for the pack.

· Connect the cells in parallel/series to achieve the rated output, test and approve the pack.

· Interpret and follow cable-assembly instructions, schematics, and manufacturing drawings.

· Read and interpret specifications, and work orders to determine materials, requirements, and assembly instructions.

· Worked with assembly instructions, parts lists, drawings, and verbal instructions to assemble connectors.

· Use of basic hand tools, cutters, wire strippers, soldering iron and heat gun.

· Familiar with a variety of crimping, stripping and various other hand tools in daily operations.

· Good knowledge of components such as Fuse, Relay & Circuit breakers.

· Replace defective cells, wires, BMS using hand tools.

· Inspect and test the components, harnesses, heat sinks / thermistor.

· Ability to weld or solder and experience in testing wire harnesses.

· Charge and discharge battery packs and approve prototypes.

Working Conditions: 5 Days working week.

Alternate Saturday working (1st & 4th Saturday)
