Your Role and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network architecture, and experience in infrastructure as well as the use of automation frameworks.
The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, and a motivation to work with internal teams and partner teams to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate needs to analyze very common business processes and practices and find ways to make them more efficient and easier using various technologies like networking, infrastructure security systems, automation tools, etc.
Support and develop on-premise and off-premise network infrastructure, automation frameworks and solutions.
Optimize existing solutions and provide improvement feedback to teams. Design and develop new tools and smart alerts that help discover failures/issues in a timely fashion. Perform design reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback about potential improvements
Act as a team lead for infrastructure engineering and engage in regular technical 1:1s with members of the engineering team.
Prepare roadmaps, budget documents and participate in vendor relationships as well as procurement.
Define and evangelize system optimizations and best practices to improve reliability and performance.
Develop automation, processes, and tools designed to make responding to and resolving incidents simpler and more robust.
Review and transition the newly designed networking services into the production environment.
Ensure the relevant documentation and training have been developed and delivered.
Keep abreast of latest technologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor’s Degree in IT along with relevant Diploma/Certifications course in Networks like CCNA/CCNP
A minimum of 7 years of technical experience in customer facing data-center architecture, delivery and operational services in environments such as SD-WAN, Cisco switches, Routers , Wireless technologies, VMWare NSX and Public Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure,GCP) and have some Linux and Python/Ansible scripting skills.
Knowledge of ITIL frame work
Be a self-starter and self-motivated.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Technical Expertise: Experience in building scalable and highly available networks. Hands-on experience working with SDWAN in a highly available and scalable production environment.
Solid understanding of network design, including the operational trade-offs of various designs. Proven experience with offerings such as SD-WAN, Firewalls, Cisco switches, Wireless technologies, VMWare NSX, Routing and have some Linux and Python/Ansible scripting skills
Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools, particularly Ansible etc.
Participates in technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals. Ability to see and present ’the big picture’ and offer solutions to make it better.
Extensive knowledge of DNS, DHCP, EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, NTP, OSPF, NetFlow, IPFIX, Wireshark, ARP, IPv4 & IPv6, SYSLOG, Spanning Tree etc. and software: Scrutinizer (NetFlow), Solarwinds, Cisco Prime etc.
