Job Description:
Objective: Be the techno-commercial interface between Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement teams to identify and execute SC initiatives in capital projects and contract manufacturing.
Title: National Manager – SC Projects & Co-pack
Function: Finance
Work Location: Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:
SC Projects
Plan, review, propose and monitor supply chain capital expenditure
Ensure capital is deployed for the right purpose and in line with the supply chain strategy
Ensure capital spend commitments are met. Continuously review all projects and highlight any risks associated
Scrutinize the supply chain capex proposals for their financial viability.
Review project proposals to understand the scope and impact. Work with supply chain team to evaluate all projects technically and financially
Act as the interface between technical, procurement and supply chain teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
Optimize the capex spend by distinguishing between must-haves and good-to-haves
Post implementation review - Create a repository of high return projects and work towards replication. Chart out action plan for underperforming projects
Identification of cost reduction initiatives - Have good understanding of supply chain costs and suggest improvement initiatives to reduce the same
Support cluster finance teams on matters related to capital expenditure and fixed assets

Co-pack
Be the finance partner to the strategic procurement department
Ensure co-pack strategy is in line with business priorities and long range plan
Identify co-pack opportunities by benchmarking of own manufacturing & logistics costs
Guide the strategic procurement team in identifying and finalizing co-pack opportunities
Evaluate co-pack proposals financially and technically. Suggest areas of cost reduction to procurement to help them in negotiation
Continuously review co-pack costs and suggest areas of improvement

Reports To: AVP SC, Procurement, Infra & Planning

Internal Customers: Supply Chain, Strategic Procurement, Larger Finance team

Job Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a deep understanding of Supply Chain and + MBA in Finance (good institute)/CA/ICWA
