The Basis Administration team under Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) at Apple is responsible for design, configuration and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Infrastructure and Databases that support applications involving Supply Chain Integration (SCI) business. We are looking for candidates who will provide architecture and design solutions for multiple database technologies (primarily Oracle) and will be in charge of fast-paced, sophisticated distributed database environments supporting OLTP systems. We seek the best and brightest Database engineers! Key Qualifications

8+ years of experience administering various Oracle technologies (Essbase, EPM, BPM/SOA, Demantra, Hyperion) with focus on highly available, distributed and scalable transactional enterprise systems.

Experience in installation, configuration, security, upgrade and life cycle management for Fusion middleware systems.

Experience in fixing all kind of technical issues, performance tuning of the applications including JVM tuning.

Experience with relational and no-SQL databases.

Solid understanding of source control software (SVN or Git) and operational software (Jenkins, Artifactory (JFrog), SonarQube)

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams


Description

As Supply Chain Systems Administrator, we look forward to your identifying, researching, and monitoring notable events within the SAP environment, and occasionally address more complicated events (both independently and team-based).
- Research, document, and report on security issues and emerging threats and analyze related software and processes to engineer appropriate risk response activities.
- Document and share security information with a multitude of partners to build rapport and garner support for enhanced security improvements.
- Work closely with Information Security, Anti-Fraud Teams, and Internal Audit teams to discover and share opportunities that enhance the value of SAP security data.
- Test and implement upgrades and updates to security management software and infrastructure components.
- Perform various other cybersecurity tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Work multi-functionally with many other teams to lead and deliver security services in a dynamic environment.
- Help to drive security program maturation and technical innovation by analyzing and interpreting data to drive process enhancements and the security approach for various projects.
- Drive successful completion of multiple, individual projects simultaneously.


Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably Computer Science, IT or others
