JOB SUMMARY:
As the Product Champion, you continually drive product adoption among the customer base and target market. You need to understand pain points and problems, you provide solution proposals, and drive them through development. You will become a key player for building/extending and adapting our global e-Commerce solution.

As a product owner, you will be key to translate between the customer, the customer facing teams and the development organization.

In the position, you need to clearly communicate and drive the product projects with your development team and other departments inside the company, you shape the vision and direction of the product; you support the roadmap definition with market facing teams and overall ACI strategy.

You will work closely with the development teams and solution teams in a Scrum and Kanban methodology. As part of an international team of product owners, you will prioritize customer requests, scope requests in cooperation with the customer facing teams as well as the customer and work on estimations with the development teams. You are the “go to” person for the development organization and solution teams. A technical background is preferred as well as knowledge in the payment industry.

It’s important to maintain an intimate understanding of the payments industry and the competition to quickly identify opportunities and threats, leverage our strengths and overcome our weaknesses while influencing the overall ACI product strategy.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Elicits and validates stakeholder requirements.
• Conducts research and data gathering to analyze and determine appropriate solutions.
• Manages entire requirements process from defining requirements, scoping with development, and supporting the developers with all questions going through development process.
• Contribute for the internal roadmap covering all customer as well as internal requests.
• Responsible for comprehensive definition and cadence of product release for a product line to achieve the strategic plan, by identifying and delivering requirements that increase market share and exploit ACI’s breadth and depth of solutions across the payment processing lifecycle.
• Clearly articulate product updates to customers and customer facing teams.
• Ensures all documentation and “definition of done” is delivered properly.
• Monitors launch effectiveness.
• Monitors key performance indicators of the operations to design, deliver, implement and support the product. Implements corrective action where applicable.
• Actively manages the product across the entire lifecycle. Determines timing of sunset of product or release/versions, and follows policies and processes to execute sunset.
• Deep and broad understanding and experience in all aspects of product management.
  

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Several years of experience in the field of e-commerce payments or similar
Experience in and agile product development (SCRUM, Kanban), especially in the role of product owner
Payment compliance/Industry Mandates and Fraud prevention experience preferred
