Roles and Responsibilities

1. Customer drawing checking as per the requirement raised by the sales team with inputs / customer drawings pre or post sales order receipt.

2. Study the customer drawings, for the requirement feasibility and finalize the as per Metaflex Product Portfolio.

3. Collection of detailed information from Project engineer and customers site representative.

4. Site visit as per requirements to understand the site scenario to find the best suitable product as per the site scenario and customer requirements.

5. Meeting with customer as & when required for technical clearance of the products offered and explaining the products requirements.

6. Preparation of the door book in ERP, & GA (PDF from Cad Files).

7. Preparation of the door & dock arrangement drawing as per the customer layout.

8. Project order processing in ERP for door book creation and revisions (If required).

9. Maintaining the records of the Door books & Drawings for each order as per the defined process / SOP for storing

10. Helping the production by providing the required drawings for the project as & when required.

11. Understanding of the industry standards and changes adopted in the market that are being followed in drawings for Manufacturing.

12. Coordination with R & D for the drawings and details of new products developed or for any change implemented.

13. Recording all Engineering Change Notes in the system.

14. Reporting of the Door books tracker MIS report for the Door book and drawings.

Qualification/Competncies Required

• The Person should be BE / B tech / DME with 3 to 5 yrs experience.
• Diploma in CAD. Expertise in Auto Cad & Hands on experience in Solidworks will be preferred.
• Experience in 2D drawing, General Arrangement Drawings and Layouts.
• Knowledge of 3D part modeling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Weldments, drawing in Solidworks.
• Exposure to Cold Rooms or HVAC projects will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, tools, machines & ISO standards.
• Knowledge of Materials and their specifications.
• Analytical mind.
• Experience in any ERP software will be preferred.

Understanding on Electronics / automations would be an added advantage.
