The group is a mid-size conglomerate based out of Chennai that has diverse interests

in manufacturing sectors across steel, alcoholic beverages, and pharmaceuticals and

has newly established it’s Industrial & Logistics Real Estate Division (warehousing).

We are looking for a Project Engineer for this division.

The Position will report to and work with the core team and will be responsible for end-

to-end construction activities of the division. The position is required to oversee the

entire construction project from start to finish and will be responsible for managing the

budget, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that the project meets all the

requirements.

The immediate goal is to develop 1 million square feet of Grade A industrial and

warehousing assets within the next 3 years and grow to become South India’s most

trusted logistics real estate developer. This position is based in Mappedu in Thiruvallur

district, Chennai and is an onsite position.

Job Title: Project Engineer for Industrial / Warehouse development project

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer for an Industrial

/Warehouse development project with a background in Civil Engineering. The ideal

candidate should have a strong background in project management and team

handling, with experience in industrial building construction, PEB structures, and MEP

works. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects,

ensuring timely completion, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities:

 Manage and oversee all phases of the projects from planning, design,

construction, and delivery.

 Create and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

 Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

 Identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and issues proactively.

 Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project

delivery.

 Coordinate with design and engineering teams for project planning and execution,

including civil, PEB structure and MEP works.

 Provide regular project status updates to senior management.

Requirements:

 B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

 Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management and team

handling, with a focus on industrial building construction, PEB structures, and MEP

works.

 In-depth knowledge of industrial building design and construction, PEB structures,

and MEP works.

 Experience in managing projects from planning to execution and delivery.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

 Proficiency in project management software and tools.

 This is an on-site position. Project location - Mappedu in Thiruvallur District,

Chennai

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is INR 6 lakhs per annum to INR 8 lakhs per annum,

depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
