Within the R&D team of Technicolor Connected Home, the R&D Project Manager’s mission is to build, for each project, a development strategy, to execute the R&D Plan by applying the standard processes and tools of the Connected Home.


Description

The COO office is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Analyst – Transformation, Data and Analytics to collaborate on cross-functional projects focused on reducing operational risk, process improvements and automation. You will work closely with workforce planning (WFP), HR, operations, and finance teams to identify opportunity areas and work to invent and simplify their processes. You will work with your peers to create tools/dashboards/reports that will ultimately be a key driver in driving automation and efficiencies. You will leverage data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities, and innovate on behalf of stakeholders. In addition to catering to data requirements for WFP, the team is also responsible for Utilization and Efficiency reporting, and the creation of real-time reporting and alerting mechanisms.

The ideal candidate has experience working with project management, data analytics, reporting, working with data analytics tools (Python, Power BI, Tableau, Quick sight, etc.). The successful candidate will rely heavily on influence over authority to drive deliverables and adoption. Some experience in advance programming/scripting (backend or frontend) is also preferred to help deliver some of our automation and reporting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manage cross-functional transformation projects for Technicolor India
  • Support with building and delivering operational and management reports
  • Develop trust-based relationships with program’s key stakeholders
  • Work with global and regional teams to build and deliver reports/dashboards
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, improve processes, automate tasks and partner with cross functional teams to develop new solutions
  • Plan and manage Utilization and Efficiency ensuring optimal utilization of production capacity and resources
  • Generating actionable insights through the development of metrics, dashboards and deep dive analysis

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in program or project management/analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree, high standard of education, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in large scale operational environment
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Ability to produce clear and concise verbal/written communication and data presentation (e.g., functional requirements, project/program requirements and roadmap, etc.)
  • Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Reporting analytic system skills needed (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, etc.)
  • Capable of understanding business needs and translating them into tools and services
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional global environment
  • Highly innovative, flexible, and self-directed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in data analytics/reporting skills: Power BI, SQL, Python, Web-based reporting, Tableau, Quick-sight
  • Expert level capability in Excel (advanced use of formulas and data manipulation), MS Project (multiple nested projects, baselining and what-if scenarios)
  • Proven ability to create PowerPoint presentations for executive management
  • Exemplary communication skills and influencing others
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Prior experience in workforce planning a plus
  • Results-oriented person with strong organizational skills and focus on delivery
