We’re working with a growing accountancy practice based near Richmond, due to an increasing workload they’re looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own portfolio and reviewing the work that is sent to this portfolio. The role will be office based, working closely with a friendly team and supporting junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track-record in client facing positions and will have excellent oral and written communication skills. Additionally, prior experience of handling a portfolio of clients is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Reviewing statutory accounts (FRS 102 and FRS 105)
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns (CT600)
  • Maintain and Develop relationships with clients
  • Training and development of junior team members
  • Reviewing bookkeeping work
  • Reviewing self-assessment tax returns
  • Reviewing client payment runs
  • Reviewing VAT returns
  • Reviewing tax work on rental incomes

Skills And Experience
  • 3+ years post-qualified experience (within practice)
  • knowledge of cloud accounting packages
  • ACCA/ACA (or qualified by experience)
  • Strong tax knowledge
