Position: Quality System Analyst

Location: Baroda

Reports to: QC Manager

Department: Quality Control

No : of Direct Reportees : 0

Key Accountabilities

  • Overall analytical responsibility for Mahachai Site Quality Systems and Productivity management in alignment with site KPI, business goals and philosophy.
  • Strong support of Quality Systems , Productivity and Process improvement using analytical tools , Six Sigma, LEAN methodology such as Minitab, SPC, cPK ,Gauge R&R, etc.
  • Responsible on scenarios analysis in order to optimize Operational and Quality processes for continuous improvement.
  • Purchasing; Raw material/Packaging/ Intermediate/ Finished Goods (PFR)
  • Manufacturing
  • Quality Control and NC Management
  • Transportation and Supply network
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Develop systematic approach for Operational & Quality Systems efficiency analysis and reporting system.
  • Summarize, provide and communicate analytical results according to assignment to key improvement functions as committed time frame.
  • Join quality system, productivity, production meeting to support improvement projects.
  • Educate site associates on benefit from analytical tools for process improvement and support department to enhance Quality Systems and Productivity mind set for sustainability.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering

LSS Green/Black Belt Certification is preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in chemical industry (preferably process industry) with hands on experience of ISO9001 management
  • Hands on experience on process improvement

Know-how/Skills:

  • Strong analytical skill with analytical tools, Six Sigma, LEAN methodology
  • Good Business Process understandings, familiarize with Quality Systems Management.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation & communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
