Summary Of Job Profile/ Purpose Of The Position

Design develop optimise execute projects on electrical power motors minimise cost through engineering analysis tools, innovations and new concept, Also head the Electromagnetic and motor decision for design, development and analysis also establish plant setup process and test centre.

Essential Duties Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Design and Development of Motors for general appliances Automotive
  • Capable of working a part of integrated global team
  • Resolve query with Motor Suppliers for new designs development
  • Responsible for Cost Innovations, Va/ve and Improvement activities.
  • In house Test Lab Set up in India (Systems Organization)
  • Heading Motor Division of all Cross Functional Teams (Rd, Production, Material, Qa, Pe,
Ppc)
  • Responsible for Apqp Ph 0,1 2 activities
  • Responsible for defining the Motor configuration and Rfq replies based on Motor electrical,
environmental and life aspects.
  • Should be expert in tolerance stack up Gdt
  • Responsible for localisation of child parts
  • Should be able to sync India Rd Activities with global Rd Centres
  • Should keep updated about latest Rd Techniques Innovations Research
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Ksas) required to successfully perform the job:

Knowledge: Design Knowledge, Energy Improvement Performance, Reliability, Verification and

validation of designs, prototype development, Manufacturing document management.

Skills: Product Design Development, Induction, Bldc Motor Design, Design, Engineering

Documentation, Failure Analysis, Cost Reduction, Project Management, Quality Management
