Our Safety Manager supports the business by monitoring and administering driver safety policies, OSHA and DOT programs and training. Requires working knowledge of federal and state vehicle/ driving safety laws, OSHA safety and the ability to identify and evaluate hazards. This position provides day-to-day tactical support to our branches by conducting inspections as well as providing guidance and training on safety issues. This position will require 50% travel to branches outside of the Des Moines area.We Are Looking For People With The Following Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in safety-related field, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of related safety/fleet and risk management experience with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Four years management experience in industrial safety and employee training.
