SummaryOf Position
Sales Manager is responsible to plan, develop and perform all the sales activates for the West Region in the Fine Chemicals industry.
Manage the assigned region / market through sales team by motivating, directing and providing leadership to achieve maximum growth and profitability in line with organizational values, vision and objectives.
Experience
- 10 - 12 years of sales experience in the Fine Chemical industry with min. 2-3 years of experience at the same level in a similar industry
- Ensure achievement of budgeted numbers of sales, net contribution & working capital through the sales team.
- Ensuring discipline in Hygiene parameters like DSO, FG number of days, SRCN, PDCN & Outstanding beyond 90days to bring operational efficiency.
- Adherent to all the Company Policies, Procedure and business ethics and ensure they are communicating and implementing within Team.
- Manage key Accounts and key distributors to achieve the overall objective of sales numbers and customer satisfaction
- Provides timely feedback to senior management about the team performance.
- Regular feedback and interaction with the marketing team for the development of high Contribution products as per market need which brings more probability.
- One-on-one review with all team members to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Executive’s sales and activity performance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Chemistry or any other related discipline
- MBA/ PGDM (Marketing)
- Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions within time constraints
- Lead and facilitate the development of staff
- Leadership skills
- Ability to drive Sales Team
- Understanding of customer and market dynamics
- Achievement orientation
- In-depth knowledge and marketing dynamics of domestic Fine Chemical business
- Interpersonal skills

- Time management and prioritization
