SAP Procurement Job Descriptions

SAP SRM / MM/ Ariba

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and executing SAP Implementation / Rollout / Upgrade / Development / Support activities in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Ariba.
• Ability to clearly understand client requirements and analyze functional gaps during blueprint and realization phase and should be able to provide apt solutions.
• Ability to create workshop decks , blue print document during the blueprint phase and be able to present to the client
• Ability to configure SAP SRM conforming to the Client’s standards & requirements and integrate it with other SAP systems such as ECC, MDM, PI, BW.
• Hands on experience in either configuring SAP Materials Management or integrating Ariba system with SAP.

In addition to the above the candidate should have been involved in the following during the life cycle of SAP implementation:

• Exposure to ASAP implementation methodologies or any Accelerated methodologies for quick wins
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing during SRM/Ariba/ MM implementation and as well as upgrade
• Ability to contribute in RFI/RFP response preparation

Skills/Experience Requirements:

MUST HAVE:

• Has a minimum 5+ yrs of SAP work experience with domain experience of minimum 3 years and has worked on atleast one SRM implementation project

• Sound understanding of procurement process and be able to provide an optimum solution utilizing processes available in SRM/ Ariba/ MM

• Hands on experience in configuring the following in the SRM/ Ariba/ MM module:
  • Self-Service Procurement
  • Plan-Driven Procurement
  • Service Procurement
  • Strategic Sourcing
  • Contract Management
  • Supplier Collaboration
  • Procurement Cards
  • Catalog Solutions
• Understand SRM and Ariba integration with MM, Sourcing, MDM catalog, PI, BI and EP
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be a good team player
• Familiarity on the basic business processes in the following Functional Areas:
  • SAP FI/CO
  • SAP WM
  • SAP Logistics

• Should be willing to relocate
• Experience in handling technical and functional support issues
  

NICE TO HAVE

• Awareness on Procurement in Public sector using SRM
• Hands on experience in SAP Sourcing and CLM or Supplier Lifecycle Management areas
• Prepare training documentation and user manuals
• Exposure/ Awareness to SAP Cloud solutions, SAP Sourcing, Spend Performance Management etc… would be an added advantage
• Exposure to procurement processes in industries such as manufacturing, retail, utilities will be a huge advantage
