Role Expectations:
  • Write engaging and thoughtful copy across social, print, video, digital for diverse projects such as emailers, advertising campaigns, physical assets, web content, sales collateral, PR related functions, scripts, digital and social ad campaigns and more
  • Ensure the copy is concise, compelling, and aligned with the brand’s tone and voice
  • To research social trends and suggest innovate and unique ideas that not only align with the brand, but also have a potentially viral impact
  • To experiment with various AI tools, content platforms and formats
  • Collaborate with the marketing and brand team to develop content strategies that drive engagement, traffic, and conversions. Contribute innovative ideas to enhance content quality and effectiveness
  • Use SEO guidelines to write product descriptions and trending articles to increase website traffic
  • Collaborate with designers, social media managers, and other stakeholders
  • Edit and proofread copy whenever necessary
  • Stay abreast of latest beauty trends
  • Maintain impeccable grammar, language proficiency, and attention to detail in all written communications and editorial oversight
    • Monitor project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies, taking proactive measures to address any deviations from the original plan and communicating updates to relevant stakeholder

Role Specifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines
  • Proficient in conducting thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and reliability of content
  • Ability to generate original ideas and adapt writing style to fit different platforms and target audiences
  • Proficiency in crafting content for various digital mediums, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, app notifications, web banners, and SEM copies
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and other digital marketing tools
  • A portfolio of writing samples that demonstrates your ability to create compelling and engaging content across various platforms
