Job description/Mission

The Product Information Management (PIM) administrator will support for maintaining and managing the IAT product information. This role will work cross-functionally with Product managers, Engineering and Data analysis team to define and operationalize the product hierarchy, attributes, and digital assets with a focus on improving data quality and supporting strategic objectives within IAT division. The PIM administrator will manage the details of product content resources, delivery channels, data relationships, and data governance. He or she will monitor and report on key data measurements and data issue resolution to ensure the consistency of the different output channels such as e-commerce offering.

About PIM

Product information management (PIM) is the process of managing and enriching product information and related digital assets across different teams to provide an engaging product experience and successfully sell the product across multiple sales and marketing channels.

To succeed, you will need

Your main responsibilities include:

• Enrich the PIM system with structures and product information for IAT
• Manage the day-to-day functioning of the PIM platform.
• Imports and links of digital assets (from DAM) to all levels in product hierarchy
• Make sure the data completion rate of attributes is available for our output channels (e.g. e-commerce platform).
• Support the proper onboarding of new ranges and products into PIM, collaborating with product managers.
• Respond to both internal and external requests for product related data.
• Work closely with e-commerce responsible, product managers and communication team to create appropriate models for publication via our output channels.
• Participate in the development and implementing processes and workflows for product data within PIM.
• Create product relationship between equipment, spares, and services for cross- and up-selling.
• Continually innovate the ideas to improve the Quality.
• Complete responsibility of executing assigned tasks
• Generating necessary documents for task as per Quality Systems. Also following work instructions and checklists.
• Communication and interaction with the internal & external clients regularly on the progress of the job requests.
• Estimation of work involved, lead time and execution of task according to customer requirement.
• Maximize satisfaction level of customers in terms of quality of work, meeting deadlines and quick turnaround time.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

The successful candidate should have a good mix of the following:

• The right candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of experience or Diploma with minimum 5-7 years of experience.
• Knowledge of PIM platforms will be an advantage
• Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms
• Knowledge of different PLM and ERP systems
• Basic knowledge of different parts, parts categorization & assemblies.

Skills/ Personality Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, possibly including some copywriting skills
• Ability to analyze and problem-solve in an efficient and methodical way
• Ability to lead collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams
• Ability to gather voice of the customer from internal stakeholders
• Thorough knowledge of database design concepts
• Strong computing skills: Microsoft Powerbi, SQL data base
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Should be a team player with learning attitude
• Capable of working under time pressure to respect deadlines
