Qualification: PG in Metallurgical Engineering with a MBA qualification from an institute of repute. Responsibilties:Experienced Technical Professional with a demonstrated history of working in the Steel and Metal industry and skilled in Research & Development, Process Improvement, New Product Development, Quality Assurance, CustomerTechnical Support and Business Development. o Development of innovative projects & Responsible for new product development. Development of new materials and technologies. Development of technical design
specification and technical & economical substantiation
o Creating value in downstream usage of steel, increasing share of wallet of existing customer segments and adopting blue ocean strategies in white spaces which show
significant business potential.
o Convert business concepts into product prototypes through manufacturing partners and do intensive consumer testing in target markets & demographics
o In Downstream Projects of OMS drive Conceptualization of Flat Rolling Mill and ExtrusionComplex.
o Pilot Marketing of concepts & products which show significant market potential and subsequent transfer of successful pilots to businesses post creation of business teams for scale up.
o Driving a team of intrapreneurs in new business development & maintaining a healthy pipeline of ideas to insulate revenues in downturns.
o Ensuring new product development activities and timely attendance of customer complaints with efforts towards reduction in repeat complaints through process
