The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile and Senior Product Manager – Functional Engagement to join the Product Systems build team. The Product Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include using modern tools and technology along with SAFe methodology to develop products. Drive strategic direction, provides solutions and drives business value to keep Boeing and its partners connected in the most innovative, efficient and effective way. We are looking for passionate individual to create, own, and continuously improve strategic and tactical direction for the Software Development and engage in product development and help to define best practices, improved processes, develop reusable libraries, SDKs and common services that will be used across the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

• Will work with our product teams to engage the business, develop and prioritize product features, and ensure successful development and delivery our products.
• Work with Functional Partners to understand and define needs/requirements through the Product Value Stream.
• Work with Functional Partners to understand business cases, break Epics into Features/User Stories, develop capabilities, and prioritize statement of work.
• Lead the Balanced Development Team to support capability development.
• Champion the user’s perspective and business needs in solution development; Ensure the solution being developed is valuable and viable for end users.
• Ensure all applications in portfolio stay in compliance to IT standards that licenses are renewed on time, and that change requests are processed reliably.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience leading teams in the values, principles and practices of Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• 5+ years of experience in developing and communicating product vision; capturing and modeling end-user and stakeholder needs; capturing and modeling end-user and stakeholder needs (functional & non-functional) to lead backlog refinement and product development.
• 5+ years of experience with building relationships with stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience in a customer facing environment and have been directly involved in gathering requirements.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 9+ years of overall experience with 3 + years of product management experience
• Very good understanding of the Electrical Engineering domain and worked on Electrical Engineering IT product/solution in Aerospace Industry (mandatory)
• Experience and knowledge of the Agile framework and well versed with SAFe framework
• Aware of Product KPIs and industry insights
• Design Thinking and prioritization capabilities
• Aware of modern technologies- Microservices, cloud, API
• Excellent interpersonal communication & analytical skills
• Aware of standard task creation and management tools
• Basic UX design experience
• Ability to learn and adopt new tools and processes.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
