Key Responsibilities
• Ensures systems are properly documented, controlled for change, and monitored for uptime and performance.
• Facilitate the selection and implementation of network, systems infrastructure to match the global needs of the company.
• Works with vendors and others to formulate, develop, and document new/existing designs and setups.
• Plan, design, implement and provide ongoing support of infrastructure systems of high complexity in extranet, backbone, and corporate environments to fulfill business needs for performance and cost benefits
• Serve as a Sr. Systems Admin for hardware installation, configuration, and operational support of these infrastructure Server, storages, load balancers
• Has knowledge of Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS cloud to optimize application delivery on the network by working with application and systems teams
• Ensure all changes go through an appropriate review, change control, and acceptance before implementation
• Document all solutions (diagrams and written documentation) clearly, both at a technical level and a high-level overview for management consumption
• Coordinates the deployment of hardware and infra changes

• Coordinate, communicate and connect with US peers as needed.

Skills and Experience
• 5/7 years’ experience supporting Windows, Linux Servers, and network devices, experience with DHCP/DNS/AD/LDAP systems
• Experience in VMware ESX/ESXi & WS cloud, enterprise monitoring systems (Solar Windows/Nagios/Cacti)
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning, Strong experience with Backup & Restore devices & technologies
• Experience with VPN’s and other remote access applications, knowledge of L2 switching & routing is a must. Knowledge of NTP, LDAP, TACACS, Radius, Active Directory domains is needed
• Knowledge of server hardware, Dell/HP servers, with a strong focus on data center technology such as SAN, Blade Servers, and Cluster
• Experience in high-availability networks in load-balanced, n-tier application environments
• Must be AWS certified with working implementation experience

Education
BE/B.Tech or degree in relevant field
