Key Job Description and Responsibilities:


a) Responsible for frequently checking your own UBX Cloud email, slack, and helpdesk for new requests.


b) Assist clients with requests ranging from troubleshooting connectivity, printing, scanning, and other simple issues when accessing their cloud workspace. (Citrix and Terminal services)


c) Work with client Veeam infrastructure. Setup, test, and verify backup and replication jobs and failover plans.


d) Responding to client requests via email and ticketing system within a predetermined time.


e) Answering and transferring calls to the appropriate party within our company via phone system.


f) Develop an upgrade schedule for all managed servers. Coordinate updates and maintenance window with client contacts if need. (Exchange migrations, AD migrations, Citrix upgrades..etc)


g) Creating accounts, security groups, and group policies in an Active Directory environment.


h) Install line of business applications on client servers and move data from old servers/systems as needed.


i) Assist with deploying new tenant servers and configuring them within VMware vSphere environment.


j) Audit server backups and perform backup and DR testing for tenant servers on scheduled basis.


k) Attend conference calls and go to meeting webinars with other staff members.


l) Assist in licensing audit and reporting for our tenant servers.


m) Patching and auditing other parts of our environment for patching/firmware upgrading.


n) Make ACL and NAT adjustments to Juniper firewalls under the guidance of network engineering.


o) Document procedures into an internal knowledgebase and wiki for team cross training.


p) Managing virtualized servers using VMware, vSphere ,ESXi, Hyper-V


q) Managing Veeam backup and replication with a full understanding of BaaS and DraaS.


r) Managing (SpamTitan and FortiMail) enterprise email gateways and should be very familiar in anti-spam, content and other spam prevention filtering techniques.


s) Managing Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers.


t) Managing Citrix XenDesktop 7.x and NetScaler load balancer.


u) PowerShell, PowerCLI, and other automation and tools


Required Candidate profile


Must have a minimum of 6+ years of strong system engineering experience in information technology with heavy specialization in

Microsoft, VMware Citrix and Veeam technologies.


Should have 5+ years experience in providing IT technical support to global users.


Deeper understanding and troubleshooting of internet protocols including DNS, DHCP, SMTP etc


Candidate should have excellent customer handling and problem solving skills.


Good in English (Verbal and Written).


Microsoft MCSE or VMware VCP certification is added advantage..
